No. Core tools like compression, conversion, resizing, cropping, and blurring are completely free and require no signup. An account is only needed for AI-powered tools that use credits.

ImgBolt supports PNG, JPG/JPEG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, GIF, BMP, TIFF, and SVG. Over 30 conversion pairs are available.

Results vary by image content and format. Typical savings are 40–80% for JPG, 20–50% for PNG (lossless), and 30–70% for WebP. You can adjust the quality slider to balance size and quality.

It depends on the format. PNG compression is always lossless. JPG and WebP use lossy compression by default, but WebP also supports lossless mode. You control the quality level.

Converting between lossless formats (e.g. PNG to BMP) preserves quality perfectly. Converting to lossy formats (e.g. PNG to JPG) applies compression. You can control the output quality.

Yes. ImgBolt converts HEIC to JPG, PNG, or WebP directly in your browser. No app installation needed.

AI tools like background removal, upscaling, and vectorization use cloud-based AI models. Your image is sent securely to our processing server, processed, and the result is returned. The original image is deleted immediately after processing.

AI tools use external GPU-powered models that cost money to run. Credits cover these processing costs. Free tools that run in your browser remain free and unlimited.

For free tools (compress, resize, convert, crop, blur): No. Everything runs in your browser. For AI tools: images are sent to our secure server for processing and deleted immediately after.

Nobody. Browser-based tools never leave your device. AI-processed images are encrypted in transit, processed in isolated containers, and deleted immediately. We do not store, view, or share your files.

If processing fails, your credits are automatically refunded. You can check your transaction history in the dashboard.
