ImgBolt provides free, browser-based image tools — convert, compress, and resize images without uploading them to a server. Your files stay on your device, processed entirely in the browser for maximum privacy and speed.
The project supports 25+ format conversions including modern formats like WebP, AVIF, and HEIC, alongside classics like PNG, JPG, GIF, and SVG.

Hi, I'm Taro Schenker — a software developer with over six years of experience and a BSc in Audio Technology from the University of the West of England. My background in signal processing and digital media gave me a deep understanding of how compression, encoding, and format conversion work under the hood.
I built this platform because I was tired of image tools that require sign-ups, plaster ads everywhere, or silently upload your files to remote servers.
I specialise in web performance, image processing, and building tools that respect user privacy. I also created FreeSVGConverter.com, a free SVG vectorization tool. ImgBolt is my answer to the question: "Why can't image conversion just work — instantly, privately, and for free?"
